Presently the Managing Director of Army Welfare Trust, he joined the Board on February 2012. He is a graduate of Command & staff college Quetta, Royal Jordanian Command & staff College Jordan and National Defense University Islamabad. He has done graduation in Military Sciences from Mouta University Amman, Jordan.

The General was commissioned in Pakistan Army in 1972. The General served for 39 years in the Army during which he participated in various military operations and was thrice awarded for his performance in actions. He was also conferred upon Hilal-e-imtiaz (Military) for his meritorious service. He has Commanded Rawalpindi Corps and remained Inspector General Headquarters as Principal Staff Officer to the Chief of Army Staff. He has also served on command, staff and instructional assignments at various tiers.

Maj Gen Mukhtar Ahmad (Retd.) joined the Board on February 2012. He holds MSc. Defence & Strategic Studies (Quid-e-Azam University, Islamabad) qualification. He has served Pakistan Army for 36 years and secured an esteemed position of Maj General at the time of his retirement. Having served as Director Research, National Defence University, Islamabad, Senior Liaison Officer HQ CENTCOM USA, Director Inter-Services Intelligence, Divisional Commander, 40 Division Okara, Director General National Accountability Bureau, Sindh, and Director General Doctrine & Evaluation, GHQ, he brings strong and progressive management and research experience to the Company.

Brig. Irfan Azam (Retd.) joined the Board in February 2012. He currently holds the position of Director HR Army Welfare Trust. He has done MSc war studies from Quid-e-Azam University Islamabad, MS Security studies & Joint operations from National Defense university Beijing, China, BA from Peshawar University and BSc Hons from Baluchistan University.

He has served at different key and prestigious positions in and outside Pakistan, including Military Secretary to Prime Minister of Pakistan, Senior Pakistan Armed Forces Officer (SPAFO), Ministry of Defense and Aviation, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

He was given Sitar-e-Imtiaz (Military) in 2009, King Abdullah Medal of Excellence, 1st Degree, from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2010 United Nations Service Medal for Liberia in 2004.

Brig. Tariq Sher (Retd.) joined the Board in December 2010. He is currently the Secretary Army Welfare Trust. He holds multiple qualifications of MSc (War Studies) from Quaid-e-Azam University Islambad, BSc (Honours) from University of Balochistan, BSc (Honors) from University of Mouta, Jordan, MA (Political Sciences) from University Punjab.

He brings management and leadership skills to the Board with extraordinary and strong educational background.

Mr. Farrukh Iqbal Khan joined the Board in June 2011. He is a banker by profession having a mix of experience of 19 years both as a Central and Commercial Banker, currently working as Head of Credit in Askari Bank Limited where he has been working for 8 years. He has done his Masters in Business Administration from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, holds certification of Certified Information System Auditor and has done Banking Diploma from IBP.

He had exposure in the area of Corporate Governance which specially includes Internal Audit, Risk Management and Compliance during his career. During experience as Central Banker he was involved in in the field of off-site and on-site supervision and regulation of Banks/NBFI.

Khawaja Muhammad Iqbal, graduate in B.Sc. (Honors) (Economics) from University of the Punjab, belongs to Khawaja Family, known as well reputed Business family Mahmood Group of Industries in Southern Punjab. Mahmood Group is one of the largest exporters of yam, fabric and leather products and one the largest employers of the region as well. He joined in the Board of Directors on April 2011.

By virtue of having a vast experience in leading different Government, Semi Government and Public Limited Companies, launching successfully a number of projects and also having a large number of International visits in all parts of U.S.A, E.U (Specially Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Holland, Portugal, Norway) ,United Kingdom, Turkey, All parts of Far East Asia, including Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Most parts of Africa, and different other countries as well, he possesses great vision, Extra-Ordinary Management and leadership skills.

He is currently and in past, has held Chief Executive position and directorship in his business enterprises.

Syed Suhail Ahmad Rizvi joined the Board in March 2007. He is a professional banker, currently working as Senior Executive Vice President Askari Bank Limited. He did his graduation from F.C College Lahore in the year 1975 and secured his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Sterling, Scotland, United Kingdom.

He has 34 years of diversified International and Domestic Banking Experience to his credit. He has served at the position of Group Head Operations as well. He is a member of the management committee and chairs various other high level committee of the Bank.

He is also a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman Audit Committee of the Board of Directors-agico.

Mr. Bhaimia was elected to the Board in March 2008- and brings more than thirty five years of managerial, entrepreneurial and professional experience in the fields of industrial management, business and finance. His current directorship includes Shabbier Tiles & Ceramics Ltd, and Pak Grease Manufacturing Company (Pvt.) Limited.

He did his graduation from Government College of Commerce and Economics, Karachi in year 1969.

Mr. Abdul Waheed has rich diversified experience of Financial Management, Banking, Leasing and Insurance to his credit, both inside and outside Pakistan. He is holding the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of askari general insurance company limited since July 2010.

Professionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant (USA), Certified General Accountant (Canada) and M.Com (Punjab University).

Before joining as CEO agico, he was working as CEO of Askari Leasing Limited, a group company of Army Welfare Trust, where he also worked earlier as Vice President Business Development. He has experience of working in Canada as Senior Financial Consultant in Dupont Canada Inc. and as Manager Accounting and Finance in Procter & Gamble Inc. (Iams).

He attained many professional courses including Canadian Security Courses, Diplomat of institute of Bankers in Pakistan and The strategic Management Accounting program.
